Honestly it offends me to referred to as a butch. But being called a dyke, is cool.

Stud lesbian? Yeah, pretty much the same as a dyke lesbian, but its used more by younger and African American lesbians. Also, dyke lesbians usually come with the short hair, big girl, stereotype. Where studs are more commonly thought of as lesbians who dress in men's urban clothing, kind of like new age dykes.
My fault, I know some people like the term butch and some don't, same with dyke.

The term stud is used among some lesbians instead of or in addition to butch.It is just another term.It is used among urban lesbians,not just black,but white,asian,latino and etc.Oh and to the chick that said we have an identity crisis,stop judging.We are being who we are.And by the way,there are alot of lesbians(femmes) that are exclusively attracted to studs.

I've never heard the term before seeing you on YA. Everyone around these parts uses the word butch. Stud makes me think of a breeding male horse *shudder*.

I thought a lesbian who dressed like a man was a bull dagger...and stud lesbian was someone who was butch..but African American. Honestly...I'm clueless

A stud lesbian is one with some sort of identity crisis...They feel like they have to dress and act like a man to get a girl...In turn defeating tho whole purpose of being a lesbian in the first place...The females who are attracted to them are most of the time bisexual females who are ttrying to kill 2 birds in one stone...TRUE lesbians who are attracted to REAL WOMEN don't date studs...I know this may get a lot of negative feedback, but so be it. I'm sure there are lots out there who will agree...
