A) Team handball (also known as field handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport where two teams of seven players each (six players and a goalkeeper) pass and bounce a ball trying to throw it in the goal of the opposing team.

B) In soccer it is an infraction called when a player other than a goalkeeper intentionally plays a ball with his hand; if a defender handles within the penalty area, a penalty shot is awarded; if the goalkeeper handles the ball outside the penalty area, a direct free kick is awarded.

hears rules-The rules of handball are pretty simple and are aimed at ensuring the game flows freely. We’ve compiled a list of some of the basic rules to help you get to grips with this fast-moving sport:
The six metre line
No player (other than the goalkeeper) is allowed in the goal area (inside the 6m line). Exceptions are after a shot on goal, when the player jumps into the area and shoots the ball before landing in the goal area.

‘Walking’
If a player takes more than three steps without dribbling (bouncing the ball) or holds the ball for more than three seconds without bouncing it, shooting or passing, then that is deemed ‘walking’ and possession is lost.

‘Double dribble’
Players cannot receive the ball and bounce it, then hold the ball, and bounce it again. This is termed ‘double dribble’ and is against the rules.

‘Kicking’
Players (other than the goalkeeper) must not kick the ball. If the ball touches the foot, then possession is awarded to the opposition.

Fouls
No tripping, pushing, hitting, clinching, charging or holding is allowed.

Depends on whether you are talking about team handball or the handball played singles/doubles like racquetball.

Similar to racquetball but with a smaller, harder ball. It takes some practice to get used to handling the ball - you don't really "hit" it, you sort of use your hand like a jai lai stick and redirect the motion. Everyone tries to just hit the ball with their hand once. That's the last time they do it, because it hurts like hell. I once was stupid enough to try to backhand the ball and just about broke my hand.

You play with both hands, and wear soft leather gloves to keep the ball from getting wet.

There are a couple of variants though. In the NY area, it is played with a larger, softer ball and one wall.

While the ball generally moves slower than in racquetball, it is really a good workout, because to hit the ball well, you have to be in a good position, so footwork is more important than in racquetball.

Handball (also known as team handball, field handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport where two teams of seven players each (six players and a goalkeeper) pass and bounce a ball trying to throw it in the goal of the opposing team.

The game is similar to football (soccer), regardless of the basic method of handling the ball which is inverse from football. It has been played internationally since the first half of the 20th century.

hand ball, its a game, usually in a gym

there is a ball, smaller than a soccerball bigger than a baseball, u can carry it for 3-5 steps then dribble or pass it on to another player.. u can go into the 3 pt arc, thats only for the goalie, and u make a goal by throwing it into the goal (standing outside the 3 pt arc)

you could play many games with it such as ***'s up which you throw the ball against the wall and if the person catching catches it, the person who thew it is out
another one is regular handball where you hit it against the wall and if it bounces before hitting the wall, you are out

well that's all I really know but you could also make some games up of your self.
