I can't answer if he is actually a christian but I can give you this fact: he was hired by his father's administration to investigate how to appeal to the Christian voters. That is a true fact that for some crazy reason most ppl don't know.

I think Christianity has nothing to do with politics. Perhaps, GWB the Christian is completely different from that GWB the politician. In our modern age, can plitics and religion be two different faces for one coin? However, both have something in common, which is POWER that they want to practice over the "REASON".

He is a hard core conservative christian. Notice all of the conservative christians who are in the spotlight, preaching a way of life, then get caught doing the opposite, what is the first thing you hear from them? They repent, they seek forgiveness, they say they were wrong and that they have changed their life. GWB did the same thing and the people who have the same beliefs soak it up. I am not a conservative christian but i know conservative christians and there is a real different way of thinking about and seeing issues. Not that it is wrong or right, but too many people are followers of people who do not act upon what they preach, and also preach messages of inequality and racism (not all, but too many of who are in the public spotlight).

I think he is a hypocrite myself. Preaching on moral values but being a ex alcoholic and having a daughter thats a alky as well and always in some sort of trouble. Christianity does not mean being perfect, But it does mean live a clean life.

real looking Christians could admit they do no longer understand all the solutions, and maximum, because that they don't study the unique textual content in the unique language and context, will be difficulty to misinterpretation. What i understand, as a real looking Christian, is that Christ got here to illustrate us a thanks to stay. The Bible is a e book about community and there are absolutely reliable evidences that communities that deserted God were subjected to destruction (which includes Isreal at the same time as they rejected God). there is also info of God's promise to maintain that usa and is clear in the actual undeniable truth that the Jewish usa survives proper this second in spite of severe persecutions. Many words are used in the unique Bible language for Hades, Sheol, and Gahena(sp?). they have diverse meanings in the context of that day. The be conscious maximum ordinarily translated to hell replaced into Gahena, which replaced into the valley outside Jerusalem the position the refuse replaced into burned. the hearth burned always and the refuse replaced into fed on by ability of the flames. in the NT it says death and Hades will be solid into this eating hearth and could no longer exist. i imagine the idea of eternal torture replaced into invented by ability of the church later. probable by ability of a similar church that idea they had to bypass to conflict to emphasize human beings to develop into Christians (ie. Crusades, Inquisition, etc). as far as i'm worried, that replaced into the worst element that ever got here about for Christianity or any faith and is SOOO faraway from what Christ taught that those human beings could, never, be said as Christian. The Bible says that Christ died for the sins of all and that his blood covers the sins of the international, yet i wager you nevertheless could settle for that present to get it. believe me although, God gained't stress all people who willfully rejects Him to spend eternity with Him. don't understand in case you get a probability to modify your thoughts (repent) at the same time as the judgement comes and also you're status in the previous Him. do not imagine God's going to spend all eternity punishing those who rejected Him both, yet perchance he will. i'm no longer God so i do not get to make your thoughts up. Is that real looking sufficient for you?

If not Christian, what do you think he is? I don't care what religion he is, as long as he's not forcing it on everybody. As it stands, most people in America are Christians, despite their participation.

... I don't know too many rich people that I would consider to act like a "Christian"... Bush included... poverty was a key issue for Jesus and I think a true Christian would focus on it...
