Curling is a winter version of shuffleboard. It has two targets on both sides of a stretch of ice in which teams try to get their "Stones" closer to the center then the other teams.

Definately like shuffleboard on ice, but it requires more touch.
There is actually a great deal of game theory that goes into the strategies.

It got its name because players try to bend or "curl" their stones around other stones to get into the center.
