As with many Dylan songs, there are numerous cover versions. Dylan recorded it himself for the 1963 LP "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan," and one of the early covers is Hamilton Camp's 1964 version from his LP "Paths of Victory." Other covers include versions by Johnny Cash, Joe Cocker, Flagg & Scruggs, Waylon Jennings, Rod Stewart, and even Link Wray.
