Get the flea killing powder at walmart (pet section not insecticide). Cover your place (including sofas) and let it sit for 2-3 days. Then vac. Also make sure to wash all your sheets and towels too.

It's worked everytime I've recomended it and can be done with $10.

Hi

I have a small Dog and live in Savannah Georgia where we have TONSSSSSSSSSSS of fleas you dont have to spend a ton of money i had fleas allover last year and some old lady told me to buy some BORAX it's like washing powder and doesnt cost much at all... sprinkle it allover your floors - carpet what have you and let it sit over night... it will kill the fleas...repeat it after about 3 weeks and treat the dog or cat whatever you have...as well as your yard.... and you'll get rid of them... the ones in the yard have to be treated every 3-4 weeks... GOOD LUCK!!

Place a candle in the middle of a pie tin (glass?) then fill the tin with water...the water should fill up with fleas overnight. (I've not tried this, just read about it on another board)

2. Feed your pet garlic tablets (or eat lots of garlic yourself) it should shine their coat & is a natural flea repelant (I've tried this, and I have friends that swear by it).

3. They sell Bio-Halt in stores, but it's WAY costly - it's active ingredient is Borax Power, which is the same stuff in that 3Mule laundry detergent. So buy a few boxes of that. Spinkle onto your carpets & under the couch cusions...then rub in with a carpet rake or broom (follow the bio-halt instructions).

4. Tobacco & Catnip are both insect repellants...though I don't suggest you get your dog to take up smoking..

Nope. You have risen to the call the exterminator level! You may have to throw out rugs, pillow and furniture!
