Why are people so obsessed with gaining points? Do I win something if I score the most amount of points?

lol no u dont win anything other than ur viginity growing back! and yea it can b like a game .. plays on people's desire to always compete!

I have gotten obsessed with it just to see what will happen if I get to the top to see what other thing i would be allowed to do.At first I thought it was stupid but now I see that is very helpful when you read people questions and answer them or you need help with something.People seem to give you real advice.

I just find it fun making fun of idiotic questions (such as this - Yahoo Answers ALMOST like a game? Can you be any more unsure?), and almost more fun actually helping someone who needs some help. Sometimes, you find some really interesting questions on here. Who knows.

Not really. Sure, you get points but you don't really "play" anything. Just use your knowledge to answer peoples questions =)
