What a chauvinistic question. Can a modern woman be taught to cook?

Anyone can help around in the home. Tell him that being a repectful equal opportunity person means doing an equal share of the work. Make it worth his while. Guilting him or nagging him is not the way to get him to do anything. Get him to want to help you not be forced to do so.

Yes. If you are lets say the wife of the man in question, start withholding sex, and/or make less meals in the kitchen...he'll have to feed himself then. He'll notice something is wrong when there aren't any clean plates left, then he'll be forced to do something about it. As far as vaccuuming or bathroom cleaning, well I guess that goes under the 'withholding option'.

Just stop doing the housework for him. (If you do all the housework you are enabling him to NOT help you). Tell him that you will not do anymore housework until he helps you. Then go on strike and see how fast he learns to dust and mop! Hang in there! The house may be messy for a while but it will be worth it.
