He shot himself at home, back in 1994 I believe was the year. He had major drug addiction and depression.
On April 8th 1994 Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of Nirvana, was found dead in his Seattle home of an apparent shotgun wound to the head and with three times the lethal amount of heroin in his system. A note lay at the scene. The verdict was suicide. Others are skeptical.

Kurt Cobaine died April 5, 1994. His death is legally recognized to be suicide. However, unanswered questions within the Seattle Police Department's report have led to a perception that Cobain may have been murdered.

First, it's Kurt Cobain. He died 04/05/1994. The man wanted to make music, nothing more. He did not expect to become an icon for an entire generation. The fame (and drugs) put so much presure on his life that he committed suicide.

Yeah he shot himself in April of 1994. Though some people are still trying to say he was murdered. There was a bunch of discrepencies in the police investigations and to this day still some doubt.

Courtney did it! She busted him out of rehab in 94, just before she released her album"live through this". Shotgun to the head.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only person who truly believes that his crackhead of a 'wife' killed him. There is no doubt in my mind that she or someone else of her persuasion killed that poor man. He didn't deserve it, just like John Lennon didn't deserve it.
