some animals may sound like they are laughing, like the hyena, but the only known animal that laughs with emotion are humans. maybe the apes too, but they are closely related to us.

Parrots. Mine has an even bigger human-sounding laugh repetoire than I do. Also, she'll laugh at a funny story or joke just before you reach the end. It's downright spooky.
