Will you be employing someone local, like a teenager? Or, will they be qualified?

If it's more of a casual employment situation, then about £5 an hour should be fine. If they're younger, £20 can seem a big bonus to a kid.

If you're going through the correct channels, then just ask them, what was your previous salary? Or, how much do you usually get paid per hour for babysitting? All normal questions.

I would say around 4 to 6 an hour. Depending on if meals are included. Also how much trouble they are and if they are well behaved. A wild kid uh you might wanna get lil more. Also charge per day even if the kid isn't there, because you are reserving his space. During holidays still charge them, even if you're not keeping them. This reserves their space in your home. Be firm with the parent don't let them cheat you.

I would charge 5 dollars peer kid so it would be 10 dollars an hour so 40 to 60 dollars. Now if you are watching them everyday you might want to sit down and talk about how much they will pay you a week alot of people charge 100 dollars a week and up.

Around here it's about $2.50 - $3.00 a hr. per kid but depend on who you are getting and where you live. My Sister pays about $4.00 a hr per kid.
