Because obese people choose to do that to themselves...and smokers are harming everyone around them...One has no affect on you and the other does..

You can choose not to look at the person who is eating but you can not duck the second hand smoke, i wonder how many smokers kill Innocent people, do you smoke i wonder how many people animals and plants your habit has harmed?
