The turtle didn't beat the hare ....the tortoise did. There's a difference.

The hare was over confident. He had a big lead on the tortoise and decided to take a nap. While he slept, the tortoise passed him by on his way toward the finish line. The hare eventualy woke up, realized what had happened and tried to catch up but it was too late. The tortoise crossed the finish line ahead of him. And that's what's up, doc!
