The pop-up adver tise ment always comes up on my computer even my pop-up blocker on. Can u tell me what to do to get rid of these stupid things?

Download antispyware software such as spybot or adaware.
http://www.lavasoft.com for adaware and http://www.spybot.com for spybot.

Make sure you have the latest updates and patches to your os.
yahoo toolbar also comes with a popup blocker.

Switch to firefox..... i have no pop-up blockers or antivirus programs and yet i havent gotten a pop-up since Ive bin using it.

u went to a site that had a virus in it that is why u have all those pop ups......if u look at porn sites that will put the virus in ur computer exactly where it came from.

under the tools bar at the topof your screen is pop-up blocker. you can set it up there.

try using many blockers in the same time...as yahoo and google toolbars...hope it works

click on Tools, then Internet Options, then Privacy and make sure it is set to Block

just use Firefox instead of Internet explorer and all the trouble is gone
