What would the problems be that we would have to solve?
How would we get there? What roles would be wise for Phobos
and Diemos? Is there an Earth/Mars Crossing asteroid we could
hitchhike on to get there?

Well first we would need to establish a substantial base there first. We would have had to do out homework to see what ores were available to be mined. We would need a way to have our own ecosystem inside our domes. We would need to find a way in order for the inhabitants to become self sufficient in our food that we grow. We would need a way to extract oxygen and water out of the Martian rocks. Then we would need to invent machines tr hat could work 24 hrs' a day out in the Martian atmosphere. Once we has the ore ready to be processed i thin k it would Be cheaper to do it on Mars and then transport the finished product back to Earth. There would be many problems to overcome but i would think that we would be very capable of doing this It would be very interesting.

some have suggested terraforming it, or making it more habitable or earth like, but that would be so expensive and no one knows how to do it yet. And I guess people could live inside bubbles, like a bio-dome (good movie). And we wouldn't need an asteroid, once we get going fast enough to catch up to the asteroid we wouldnt need it, you don't slow down in space (there is no friction) unless you use your rocket thrusters or whatever.
