I am pro-American all the way but in my time in the Marines I learned that the rest of the world does not think like the US. One of the biggest faults I see in the US is that most Americans honestly believe the rest of the world thinks like us. This is not true. Another big problem is a lot in the US believe that the rest of the world wants to be like us as well. That is also not true.
This is a problem I have given a lot of thought to and honestly I do not know of a solution to this. You can look through here at the partisan answers and tell that there are some people that plan out you will not change their minds.

I am an American and I have no idea what you are talking about. Are you saying that we are unaware of the existence of other countries around the world or is this just more crap from the "Hate America" left?

I guess young countries will always be rude to their ancestoral countries in much the same way a hot-headed teenager does to their parents....
