With Boston Red Sox in the lead in the American League Eastern Division and the Toronto Blue Jays giving chase, will the Yankee pitching hold up for the rest of the season?

Will the N.Y. Yankees make the playoffs-post season playoffs?

The yanks are not done because the have a gajillion dollars to waste. They will pick up a bat and a pitcher before the end of the month for cash and a player to be named later. They will still challenge the Jays for the wildcard spot.

The yankees must win the divison to make the playoffs since the Al wild card is most likely going to be won by a American leauge centeral team

But the yankees do have a very good chance of winning the divison this year They are peaking at the right time, and there starting rotation seems to be seeling in nicely
and they will be geting back some key players from the DL. of course it's allong time untill october and anything can happen

I hate the Yankees, but it's too early to say their season is over. It doesn't look good, but it's not over. The Red Sox starting pitching has been good but Schilling or Beckett could break down. Papelbon has been out of this world. He should come back to earth a little. The Yanks may still make a trade that could help them this year. They could also get the wildcard spot as Detroit could very well collapse in the Central Division.

Yankees are too good not to make the playoffs but I believe it will come down to the White Sos and the Red Sox.

Naw!! The Yankees are dead meat. They are finally showing how good they are. NOT!! They will end up in third place behind the Red Sox (first) and the Blue Jays (second).

I know this will upset Yankee fans and bring joy to Red Sox Nation, but I only call them as I see them!!

Go Sox!!

No but the white sox are, Yankees won't be done until mid October when they are beaten by the wild card KC... That's right You heard me KC.
but that won't last for long as the tigers beat them in the next round, and the Cardinals beat them in the WS.

I can't say if they will make it to the playoffs but I think they will stay in it.If you remember....the last few years the Yankees have some what come back to win their division so I think that's what they are going to try to do this year too.I think they will start playing better after the all-star break.

I hate to say it but I hope they fall apart for the rest of the season. They have been so dominant for so long, it's nice to see other teams step up and give them a run for their money. I like the Braves and find myself in the same boat. They are playing awful but at the same time I am enjoying watching some of the other teams that normally arent very good make a run for the top.
