Depends on her cycle. The time frame depends on when she ovulates. If a woman has the idealized 28 day cycle (28 days from the first day of her period to the beginning of her next period) then she should ovulate around days 12-16 of her cycle. Ovulation is when an egg erupts from the ovary and is ready for fertilization. If you have unprotected sex within 4-6 days prior to and up until the time of ovulation there is a chance of pregnancy. This occurs because sperm can live inside a woman's body for up to 6 days (some sources say 4 others say up to 7, but 6 is the average cited). The egg on the other hand is only viable (able to be fertilized) for 24-48 hours.
There are a few ways to check if a woman is ovulating. There is the mucus test, the temperature test, the ovulation test kits (pee on a stick like pregnancy tests), and countless ovulation calenders (link to one listed under sources).

It depends on your cycle, but many have told me "most women ovulate 14 days after their period." I think it's a hit and miss kinda thing. I think in society those who are not trying and get pregnant, is much higher than those who actually are trying. Good luck if your trying!!!

Each woman is different but generally it depends on when you ovulate (produce eggs). If you produce eggs around the 13th-15th day of the m cycle then your chances of getting pregnant increase.
