With the two scorers against the Czech Republic out because of cautions, Ghana won't be as potent as they were when they beat the Czechs. However, Ghana realizes that they can win the group should Italy and the Czechs draw, so it'll be a hard slog for the Americans.
Anything's likely to happen tomorrow, but my best guess is that Italy will draw with the Czechs and USA will surprise Ghana 2-1 because I think Ghana will be spent from their win and the United States will seize the once seemingly lost opportunity to advance to the second round with both hands.
One thing's for sure: whoever finishes second will be a tough fight for Brazil in the second round! Brazil will probably prevail anyway, but it won't be easy at all.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ESSIAN! Ghana beat the #2 team in the world and they played Italy extremely tough attacking with EVERY possession..so even though they lost Italy...they still played hard and I think the refs screwed Ghana..they had 3 times more fouls than Italy and Italy had 3 times more corners AND Ghana was tripped within the Goalkeeper's box and the ref WOULD NOT allow them to take their free kick...it was a BS call..so while Ghana lost to Italy..they shouldn't hang their heads....the USA will have their work cut out for them if they think it will be easy..Ghana's GK Kingson is AMAZING! I think the USA can win..but it will be HARD...and Czech republic got embarrassed by a team ranked in the 30s...they're gonna beat the living crap out of Italy ...Rosicky and Nedved may score 2 apiece...they're TICKED..

USA may sneak a 1-0 win; they played well against Italy with a player less for a big part of the game, and could have even won it.
Italy should win - The Czech Republic will have a lot of key players missing - The Italians only need a draw but won't want to risk losing, so they will go for the win.
If I am right, USA will get through in 2nd place!

With luck and skill, we can beat Ghana. The Czech Republic underestimated them in their match just as much as we overestimated ourselves in our match against the Czechs. Course, we have to hope Italy will beat the Republic for us to move up. Otherwise, it'll be all for nothing.

ghana will win if thy keep up a good defence....italy will beat the czechs cos there's so agressive especially tht cute blonde haired guys tht knocked the usa's player nose till he bled like crazy..argentina, brazil or england(by a longshot) to win !!!

i think the U.S will either lose or tie , but i don't think they will win.
this is because the Czechs lost to Ghana, and the U.S lost to the Czech not to mention by 3-0.
unless the U.S plays incredibly , i don't think they will win .

that is gonna be not common for united states particularly if the play an same way they performed antagonistic to Czech Republic yet anythin can ensue in the journey that they do win issues receives exceedingly intrestin yet i imagine united states can take it
