I had no idea there would be a shuttle launch! I'm so glad I read your questions -- we'll definitely be going to that! I found the time info. Here it is:

From O-town area go east along SR-528 (the beach line) and then exit off along US-1 in Cocoa. Go north on US-1 until you get to Port St. John area. There is alot of parking areas along the river that give you excellent views. Be advised they fill up VERY early!
