"I'd kill you if I found out that you were cheating on me," even if you didn't know if they were all talk & no action ? Is it justifiable @ ALL ? I say it doesn't matter if they're sober or drunk. Cuz there are some peeps who say that they've had it said to them many times. How come they stay ? Or do they just "know" that they're all talk ? For me, it doesn't matter if it's all talk. Also, what do you consider the word "cheating" to mean ? What is your definition of the word w/o consulting a dictionary... lol. Someone told me that it cheating is when they have sex w/ someone else or kiss someone else.. Soooo... What do you all think bout these 2 Qs ?

WOW... is all I can say after reading all those responses. I checked my replies to OTHER Qs fr the other day, & refreshed my e-mail... & it *still* showed lots of As !!! So I had to check them out for myself...
Anywayz, I'm not w/ this guy anymore. I broke up w/ him on Wed & he came & got the rest of his stuff today. He was gonna come & get the rest on Sat (his day off) but he didn't call. When he called I didn't answer the phone. I mostly had the ringer off during the wk'd, but sometimes I saw when he was phoning... but didn't answer. The 2nd time we broke up it was diff't. He called me & asked if I wanted to go for a ride & talk & I accepted... :( But I'm a whole lot stronger NOW :D I didn't really feel tempted to A the phone & I didn't call him ONCE, cept for today cuz this was after he picked up his stuff & I didn't want the last thing I said to be " geez....!!!" (I forget what I said b/f that...)

Anywayz, I was talking to his older sis & after I said that he cheated on me, (playing strip poker w/ his friend & 2 girls, & he took his shirt off, something he NEVER does in public) & he also "straddled" one of these girls & gave her a massage !!! He even told 2 of the peeps that I "got jealous" !!! :@ I got pretty mad @ him, esp since he told the girl !!! Who CARE if "she's 400 lbs". It's some other girl !!! As for the threat, my ex's older sis said that she was told that "many times" :s That's not the sole reason why I broke up w/ him. I broke up w/ him for many, many, MANY reasons. Now #2, MY def of cheating..

Cheating: when a guy/girl does something w/ a guy/girl behind their significant other's back which could result in losing trust or a break up b/w the couple

THERE. That's my definition. The last word could end w/ "back" w/o the rest of the def too possibly but I just wanted to be more precise for some reason... even tho it was shorter b/f lol.

First of all, any violent threat is not excusable. A violent threat can sometimes turn into physical action, so why even chance it/ or take that risk on your own life? Also, if these kinds of threats are occurring in the beginning of the relationship, that's a bad sign and one should not put their life in danger due to what they think might be love. Cheating can mean anything to anyone, depends on how jealous you are and how cheating is defined in one's book. For some people cheating means a guy/girl checking out another girl/guy, for some people it means talking or kissing, and for others it means sex.

Staying it all depends. If I was in love and they told me something like that I may stay because there is never any intentions on cheating. Now if it wasnt love then hell yeah I would get up out of that relationship b/c people are crazy and you never know he may stick by his word. Go with whaat you feel. Now What is cheating to me cheating is if you have sex, kiss,go out anywhere, or even just having a conversation with a girl in a flirtous way and you know when it is flirting and when it is not.

I wouldn't break up with them just for saying it, but if their actions about other things were getting out of hand I might have a problem. Trust is so important in a relationship, and if they don't trust you, that's a problem. (Unless you've cheated in the past and they have reason to not trust you.)

Cheating is such a broad term. For me, cheating means doing anything that could be construed as intimate. That could be hugging, kissing, or even just talking about doing those things with another person.

I thhink you gotta work it out with whoever you are trying to make something longterm with. Idealy it means that two people are totally in love and totally satisfy each other in every way forever or till one of them dies anyway ( hopefully happily during sex, thats how I wanna go) . That model is unrealistic I think mostly these days so two people have to just tell each other waht they will tolerate and what they won't . Then just stick by those rules NO MATTER WHAT.

My man put it another way. He told me if I ever went out on him it better be with a total stranger, rather than anyone I really cared about, because he'd have to kill whomever it was, and it would be better for me if it weren't someone I cared for...nice, eh?

my bf tells me that ALL the time.........
i know its not right to say, but whatever i know he wont go through with it, and not just that, but i wont cheat on him.
i think CHEATING is any form of intimacy, whether its even talking in a "sexual way" thats a form right there, but, typically, cheating is when you kiss or "phyisically" touch (kiss , hand job etc) that person

Answer to first question:
Stay away from anyone ho says they will 'kill' you . they have no sense of reality and just might if provoked.

Answer to second question
IT IS CHEATING "when they have sex w/ someone else or kiss someone else.. "

No one who cares about you would want to kill you.
It's jealousy that makes them talk that way.
Who would want to be with someone with jealousy problems.

Cheating: another problem.
In my book once a cheater always a cheater.

If a guy say that to me, i would tell him to carry his a** for threaten me, and cheating is when you are doing something with someone else that you would normally do with your souse.
