If there was a device which allowed us to see the past and present of any person without any hindrances or obstructions that was available for every person, would that create a perfect world? Would crime end? Could there be tactics in war? Could there be secrets?

In essence, this world would have no walls, no possible lies, and no hiding. Would it work?
