When I was pregnant my boyfriend refused to touch my stomach because it was "gross" or "weird". I see pictures of husbands kissing their wife's pregnant belly and think "yeah right".
Or am I the only one that dated a jerk?

my husband thought it was sexy when ever he went to work he would kiss my stomach and me. he always said i look lovely and beautiful even though i had and still have huge stretchmarks. and you are not the only one that dates those kind of jerks but if he doesn't like the idea than he shouldn't have put a seed in you or should not put a seed in any one. you are lucky to have a baby some people can't have babies. and good luck with your pregnancy. and congratulations.

Pregnancy is beautiful! It's a miracle first of all and the fact that your body can create and house a whole new human is amazing.
I find the 'glow' that pregnant women have is an amazing turn on.
Any guy that finds his lover's pregnant belly a turn off is not worthy of having placed his seed inside of it.

Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. that's the fruit of two loving people. It shouldn't be consider gross. I think your boyfriend was/is a jerk.

I am sorry but he is a jerk!! What is he gonna do with a baby, have him/her sit in the diaper all dday cuz to me i think that is gonna be where i am going to have problems. I am only 11wks and my boyfriend has finally been showing my tummy attention, i think it's becuz i am showing more and more. I don't know about him!! GOOD LUCK through out your pregnancy!!

"Men" don't think any one way about anything.
Some men find pregnancy "gross". Some find it sexy. Some aren't particularly moved by it.
It is unreasonable to expect a man other than the father to be interested in your pregnancy.

The whole pregancy is not gross...it just weird because its so hard to believe that something that grows in you can grow into a real person. I understand that he finds it gross/strange...but you should remind him that its human nature at its best

my hubby loves the fact im pregnant i found out just days after he left my mom took me to the hosptial because i was so sick to my stomach i couldn't drive (i thought i had a bug a bug alright) the nurses told me that it is a turn on for most men my hubby agreed as soon as i told him he said he wanted to come home however everyone is diffrent but it probly scared him more than sickened him

There is nothing gross about your child growing in your stomach. You should love the fact that he/she is healthy and developing on track.

Pregnancy is beautiful....uncomfortable but beautiful. Birth and Labor however are gross.
