I have tried working out a ton. I lifted weights 4 times a week for months but no result. So I got on this protein shake called Nitro-Tech and it worked. I gained weight and my body was getting ripped. But after I ran out my body went back to it's old self and I got weaker even though I continued to work out 4 times a week. What should i do? Should I keep buying protein shakes? Or start taking Steroids? I need help asap because I am off to college in 2 months and I am suppose to be playing division one football at Northern Illinois but I only weigh 165 pounds but I am 6'2. Only serious answers please. Thanks

Alright, first of all, let me say you're doing a good job already...keep working out only 3-4 times a week, b/c any more would be overtraining, which is bad (injury, fatigue, and your body actually grows while you're resting).
Second, the protein stuff is good, but don't touch steroids (stay off the juice). They'll just mess you up beyond belief.
Basically, carbs give you size, protein builds muscle, and vegies & fruits help everything else. I'd suggest getting a personal trainer, first of all, to help you with your gains. B/c your workout may need some revamping. Second, put together a diet plan...it's good to eat 5-6 times a day, but as somebody who's trying to gain, up the calorie intake (eat bigger portions).

the only way you are going to get big is by eating. You need to eat healthy foods and instead of having like three big meals eat seven or eight smaller ones a day. and keep taking Nitro-tech and mix it with Cell-tech it is a great combo for improving size and strength. You will see results in years to come it is not going to happen over night dude. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. so be patient and stay motivated.

To build up muscle, You must work out everyday. There is a phrase, "you use it or you lose it". You must work out everyday or at least every other day. YOu should also have a diet with 75% protein and 25% carbs. You should try the alkin diet.

contrary to popular belief, you should not work out everyday. it depends whether you want to be ripped or massed up. if you want to be ripped, then it's advisable to workout on most days (you still need at least two days rest). if you want to build mass, then it's 3 times per week targetting all major muscles. Diet include protein, complex carbs, vitamins, fish oils, etc...take it easy...
