I agree. I would like to see the NBA go back to having 20 to 23 teams instead of 29. That way, teams would have more than one superstar and a bunch of role players. It's unbelievable the quality of the teams that make the playoffs nowadays versus the playoff teams of the 70's and 80's. Some cities don't deserve an NBA franchise.

As for a marketing guru, the WNBA should look at David Stern (NBA commissioner). Look at what he's done for the NBA's popularity, not to mention Michael Jordan's career.

First of all I have no idea what your talking about wanting more WNBA games shown, because thats the last thing I want to see. But I will say I agree with you about the NBA, they need to cut down on calling weak fouls, not fine players for fouls- fine them when they throw a punch but not for trying to break up a shot, they need to stop only calling fouls for big name players( alot of times you'll see a young player get hacked and no call but if lebron or any top name player gets touched they go to the line)

If you ask me it's all just a pathetic cry for better television ratings which in turn hurts the ratings because the games become repetetive and dull. But, aside from the NBA Finals where clearly the Mavs did get screwed- I found this year's playoffs to be very entertaining

The NBA is probably in the best shape of the leagues history. I would be more worried about the state of baseball.

I like the NBA in its current state....but no matter what state it's in, there will always be someone complaining.
