has it ever happened to you where youve had dreams of yourself in the same scenaries that you have never visited but come up 3 to 4 times every period of time or so but each time something different occurs? what is that suppose to mean?

like for example one time i dreamed that i was back in the 1600's running along some pier kinda pirate like and there was this man running after me with a huge sword, i wasnt scared, but i ran like a bullet from harbor to harbor, kinda like in the Hook movie. i ran into this long corridor with grass and covered trees and at the end there was this huge door, it was shut closed. i began to worry and poof i woke up. then i began getting more dreams but of the same scenary, there wasnt any man, the corridor was there, but the door was open, again me just walking around dressed in old times doing nothing and in my dream remembering that i had been there before.

repeating scenaries in dreams, what is that suppose to mean?

Some people would say its a past life. More than likely though your mind gathered random parts of different places you have been and/or seen and incorporated them into the scenary of your dream. The different choices and paths in your dreams could represent a difficult choice you are thinking about.

Dreams are random firings of the synapses in your brain. Your brain then tries to make sense of them. It's logical that you'd have a reoccuring dream simply because that line of thought is still fresh in your mind making it more likely you'll interpet something that way again.

Think of the riddle type thing: What color is a cloud? White. What color is paper? White. What do cows drink? Milk?
Your mind is on the track of white things, so it jumps at milk instead of water.

Basically, your dream means nothing. None of them do.

The scenarion seems to me that you were in crisis about something and the locked door was a way to show you that your not sure how to solve it. When the man was gone and the door open you resolved the problem and were at ease.
