"From what I've found, the heaviest hailstone ever documented from across the globe weighed in at about 2.2 pounds. In fact, multiple hailstones this size fell over a part of Bangladesh, India on April, 14th 1986. The hail storm reportedly killed over 90 people. "

Not Sure on the Biggest ever found, but the biggest it can get depends on the updaft of a Storm. When a hail stone falls, it can be sucked up back into the updaft and refreeze. It can keep doing that till it gets so heavy that it can't be sucked back up. Then it falls on down to the ground.
