I bought an ovulation test. It has a chart and the days on the back of the test. Can someone help me understand this chart. Last month I got my period on the 4th. It never comes on the day I am expecting it to come. We are seriously trying to conceive.

Just saying if you have a 28 day cycle and your last period was on June 9th you will be fertile June 20th through the 24th and ovulate on june 23rd

In july you will be fertile on july 18th through the 22nd and ovulate on july 21st

Next Month your period will start on July 7th

I done the above at http://www.mymonthlycycles.com
All you do is put in your last period and it will calculate when you will be fertile and ovulating.

Above is based on if you do have a 28 day cycle (i don't know if you do or don't)

Good Luck

From personal experience anytime in that 2 weeks after your first day of your period thats when i always seem to end up pregnant. So my advice is start on the 23rd and keep going for like a week and that might be the trick. It was in my case i have 3 in 3 1/2 years!

I usually get mine around the 9 th to. U should be ovualting like Now. Are u having a little cramping. I am also trying to conceive but I cannot have sex because my partner is away at the moment but I am cramping like hell. They say that thatis a sign of ovulation. My most fertile days are 20,21,22,23. I believe our eggs live for 24hours , It is good to have the sperm waiting when it come. So have sex to much cause u need all the sperm u can get.

good luck !!!! : )

After you finish ovulating......there's only a 2-3 day window to where you can get pregnant. That's exacty 14-15 days after you have finished having your period. Keep track of the days...and have intercourse 14-15 days after you finished ovulating.

Have intercourse a couple times a day. That would increase your chances and you will most likely get pregnant.

To be honest there is no actual way of knowing when you ovulate. Sometimes you can feel it, but not everytime. I always though it was 14 days past the 1st day of your last period, but I got pregnant 2 days after my period ended. If you are trying to concieve just have sex everyday! lol, good luck! :)

You will ovulate about two weeks after the beginning of your last period. Some people measure their body temperature as soon as they wake up in the morning as the body temperature goes up slightly when you ovulate.

Try using an ovulation calculator. Enter your last 3 cycles of information and it will give you the average cycle length and expected date of your period:
