I have a problem my friend wants to become a famous singer, but she is not very good. How can i tell her that?

She may not can sing but Mary J. Blidge was told the same thing when she was younger that she can't sing.Mary can sing to me but maybe your friend can sing but need more practice.

People told me that I could not sing but only because when I try to sing in front of people I get so nervous that i sound like a hot mess and there always the possibility that she doesn't know her voice.

I sung soprano but to only found out that I am not but a alto that can sing second soprano.Later on everyone found out I can sing when they walk up on me singing by myself.On one hand she could just need the right direction and some practice.Then again she might can't sing at all.Try to not tell her that she can't sing because she might can but get too nervous around people from trying to hard because it happens a lot.So take her to some people that has musical listening hear to see what she is doing wrong that way if she can not sing she will find out on her on.
