Yes I love it, as you can see I am a Goodies Fan and I love listening to the old recordings of I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again, which starred The Goodies and also John Cleese. I also like watching How to Irritate People which starred, John Cleese, Michael Palin, Graham Chapman and Goodie Tim Brooke-Taylor.
As well as those I am also a big fan of Ripping Yarns and Fawlty Towers.

Funny years ago in parts, but now dated and really not that funny.
You had to have been there at the time and seen it in its proper context as another forward step in a long tradition of a specific type of British comedy.
You are trying to make a tradition of something which was and is the antithesis of it.

comedy in its purest form, took what the goons had done as a base and added even more surrealism.
from terry gilliams animations to the classic scenes of dead parrots, transvestite lumberjacks and bicycle repair man, they have etched a new definition of humour into several gernerations. every comedy since is compared to python as a yard stick

I don't know who holds the copyright, as the shows are over 40 years old the BBC may have sold it to a distribution company who won't let it be shown cos dvd sales are still strong. I have seen at least 3 of the films on ITV.

I absolutely adore every one of them. Life of Brian and Faulty Towers were so funny too. The best.

It was the cornerstone of British television comedy, but I think the best comedy was ONLY FOOLS & HORSES. If you are british, you will know what I'm talking about, if you are a Yank, you'll think "What the hell..........???"

Especially since I see them in everyday life.
Congress is just one long, extended version of the "Argument Clinic" sketch.
