I know google is most used but I prefer Yahoo

Google based on it's use of boolian logica and the extra search features it has regarding scholarly publications and books. For everday concerns like news and weather or fashion and sports we can ususally find what we want with any search engine but Google has additional engines.
They are a part of the "open access" movement which helps to put research and books online for free. This is excellent because it improves the quality of intellectual information that can be easily found and accessed on the Internet.
There are many complete books that can be found using Google that do not have copyright protection and so if you want to read ancient Greek philosophy or other texts you can.
Google really is more intelligent as a company and develops its product with learning in mind. The others are pretty lame and cater to what is popular. I mean look at the news on these sites on the first page of each one. What is so important about actors and actresses and music that it gets a front page citing? Well it is what people like: easy, breezy fun stuff!

In my experience with search engines, I have found that both Yahoo and Google are good, but i prefer MSN
