I have glasses and when I go around in public wearing these thick plastic things I feel like a dork!!!!!!!!!!!

I have glasses and I hate them! By the way A cheap place to find glasses is 19dollareyeglasses.com I got a pair from them for 20 dollars, unlike the $300 pair at the store.

Get some glasses that you like and take a friend along that will give you good advice. They make lenses thinner for a little extra money. Contacts don't cost that much these days. If you are a minor and your parents are buying them for you, tell them how you feel. Most glasses places will let you make payments on glasses. I know exactly how you feel.

I wore glasses for what seamed like forever! But finally had Lasik Surgery last July... Funny thing, now that I don't need them, I kinda miss them!
Them can really be a fashion statement and most people, look really cute in them.. Maybe get a pair that isn't so bulky and yo will like them better.

There is nothing wrong with wearing glasses. I think they make people studious and intelligent. I even put glasses on my Yahoo Aviator.

I hate glasses....i used to wear glasses, but now i wear contacts...hehe :p...and contacts are better...as long as u take good care of 'em :D

I love my glasses. ^^;; (I'm lame like that =] )
You see I got to pick my own frame so I got a good one that would look good on my face.
