It is dangerous!!
Some of you who think that it should be gone, we can work together and try to stop it!!

i think it should be gone for all the bad things that have been happening on it in my opinion people need to find a new way to communicate than just through internet because you never know who you are really talking to

It is not bad or dangerous. What is dangerous is the lack of parental involvement as others have said. Parents hand over a computer to their kids and let them have their way. Parents aren't keeping up with what their own kids are doing. As a teenager you need to watch who you talk to. Talk to people you know only. Don't accept some guy/girl talking to you just because they sound or look okay. My two teens talk to only people they know, as I said. I watch their myspace pages. I am aware of who is on their friends list. So it's not dangerous. It is using it appropriately.

Anyone who thinks what you think has problems. I think Myspace is a womnderful place for kids to get in touch with their firends, classmates, and other kids around their area. If kids are stupid enough to meet up with old perverts... welll then thats their fault, not Myspace's fault!
I mean if you get rid of Myspace.. whats next Yahoo/MSN/AOL/ messenger? Come on now..... just becasue your old and don't use Myspace doesn't mean that you kids can't use it. It's fun and there's more to it than talking to "strangers"
... It has games, MUSIC, Videos, movie clips, messaging, eveything in one site. It's a great source of Entertainment.
Myspace has helped a lot of singers/bands get recognized. Taking Myspace away will not only affect your kids.. but it will affect Teenagers and adults alike. It will affect music artist, bands, and other sruggling artist as well.
Stop the perverts not Myspace.

You might not like this answer but do you think cars should be banned because they kill people. Or computer should be banned because of all the stolen laptops out there that have our SS number on them? If you say yes to any of these then I will agree with you. You have to remember its who is behind the problem not the spot where it happeneds. If they bann everything because someone is being bad there then we all would have a borning life.

I think parents should TEACH THEIR OWN KIDS about the dangers of the internet insdead of just blaming some site for something THEY can easily prevente. I'll admit that there are some bad people on the web, but that's no excuse for not giving your kids the suppervision they NEED.

I think Parents should pay more attention to what their teenage children are doing, The parent is responsible for what their child is doing there are ways to protect them from different sites. These people are sue happy and will do anything to get money somewhere. it is ashamed that things like this happen to kids but they are old enough to be on line without the parent then they should be old enough to know what to say or tell about them self..there are sick people out there one the net just becareful and watch your kids or do not let them on........

er, what's going on there, then?
all i know is that some of my favourite, pre-existing bands are using it as a very convenient online gathering place for fans and a way to get much-needed and much-deserved wider exposure, and a couple of new favourites so far have pretty much started out there
whats going on there, are people getting killed or what? or do you just dislike the emo teenagers it's infested with (as yahoo-geocities also is, or, i guess, once was..)

I think it should be eradicated because it's asinine and a gathering ground for imbeciles. I have never seen a bigger group of people who lack the ability to communicate coherently as I have on that web site.

Myspace is one of the worst things on the internet. It should definetely be banned. I refuse to make one.
