can I change my voicemail to any sounds I have saved on to my computer, such as, "you've got mail"

what if you want to change your voicemail from Yahoo!, everytime you recieve a new e-mail?

Yes, go to Control Panel then sounds/audio devices, then go to sounds and you can browse down and change the sounds to your mail receiving sounds. It usually works with mail clients such as microsoft outlook, outlook express, eudora, and AOL.

You cant do it on browser email clients like yahoo. The only way is if you get a mail client software that downloads mail to your hard drive.

That's easy. All you have to do is make sure your Sound options are set. Go to the Control Panel and choose Sounds. You want to change the Event Sounds. See first link below. To make a change to the sound for an event, select the event in the Sounds Dialog box, then click on "Browse". This will open a file-search dialog allowing you to locate the file. Select the C: drive and look in your "Program Files" folder for the e-Speaking program folder (if you have installed e-Speaking). Then open the Sounds folder.

You can download various sounds for different events through the Internet. (see second link below)

The sounds are stored as WAV files on your computer. To update an even't sound, all you have to do is point the computer to the location of the appropriate sound.
