Time machines are possible. The fact that you, yourself, exist is proof of this - you are a machine travelling through time at a rate of one second per second.

If a time machine was possible, it couldn't be proven because the traveler would've made precautions not to disturb the time flow by his presence. Such a machine would be dangerous due to present man's inability to leave well enough alone. Thus, any temporal travelers would make sure no one knew of their existence or of the machine's. A time machine can't rightly be impossible because physics can be bent around to one's chosing within limits. A time machine can't be rightly improbable because time is relative and can be circumvented given the right conditions and controls.

In short, if you know about a time machine, then we're all screwed because someone will eventually try to take it over and go back into time to make themselves rich, kill a dictator before his time (Hitler is always a favorite target, though Nero and Jim Jones come close.), attempt to change a country's policy to better benefit an outdated and tyrannical regime, or just try to pick up some fresh mammoth steaks from the butcher's.

Not only is it Possible,
Not only is it Probable,
But it may already exist ! And in a way that is right out of the "Twilight Zone".

Let me begin by pointing out an experiment that was conducted by the government, In which they secured two synchronized atomic clocks. They placed one in a rocket and sent it in to orbit around the earth, at a very high rate of speed. The second clock was left here on earth. When the rocket returned to earth, the time on the clocks were compared one with the other. The clock from the rocket was found to have slowed down. This experiment physically proved that Einstein's Theory of Relativity was indeed true. http://www.btinternet.com/~j.doyle/SR/sr4/sr4.htm

The Theory states that time among other things are relative to the observer: Time can shrink, time can expand depending on your position in space relative to the object in question. So if you left earth, and orbited it at a high rate of speed, you would be younger then you would have been had you not taken the journey. Given enough speed, upon return your Friends would be old and Gray; making it possible to travel to the future. How you get back, to your original time, may be a bit of a problem. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/time/through.html

Now is there in existence today a craft that is fast enough to travel deep into the future? There is, if you can believe that the saucer crash of 1947, actually took place. Here is some information and pictures of the original story, for those not familiar with what happened in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.

A day after the incident our government denied ever having recovered such a craft. This next article, shows that this may not be completely true. Pay special attention to a futuristic fuel called Element 115 used to power said craft. It was not suppose to exist, according to our government, but it's here now.

I feel that nothing is impossible ans that everything is possible. I believe that some day in the future some will develope a time machine. Some may have already. There are a few problems with creating it. First is how do you get back to the future? The person may have found a way in to the past or future, but will they be able to get back.

Suppose a time machine can be built to go either direction or even only one (just to the future). I think that if you could instantly travel through time, it would occur at this exact spot in space. Where would the Earth be in a year? Even only 5 minutes? The Earth and the solar system are travelling at around 250 km/second WITHIN the MilkyWay Galaxy. To have a feasable time machine you would have to be able to move through time AND space and then be able to do it very very precicely. Think how far the Earth has travelled in 20 years and then to be able to set someone close enough to the ground so the fall don't kill them, but not buried underground. Even plus or minus a kilometer, that's a difficult shot from 157,680,000,000 km away! I think that even if they do invent a means of time travel, it will not be like the movies.

Not impossible. But it would take millions of years to work out the math. The universe and everything in it is in constant motion and so to go to the past you'd have to know exactly where your destination was at that specific time. An error would be a nightmare. Anyways...there are variables like the actions of others to consider. Can one honestly know the actions of every person alive on any given day? What if you succeed in going back in time but materialize halfway inside someone or something?

Some say that it would be possible by applying enormous amounts of gravity so that you could tunnel through space-time.

But my biggest question was always:

With the Earth spinning, the Earth revolving around the sun, our Solar System spinning in the Milky Way, and not to mention the universe is constantly expanding,... How in the world would know what location in space you would wind up? Wouldn't you end up at the same location but at some time in the past? So you might end up floating in space, inside of the earth, or who knows where.

If possible, i believe if you go into the past, you could mess some major stuff up
I believe, no matter what you do in life, it will reflect on what happens in the future... So for a example, you go back in time, and step on a bug that you normally would have passed by, well that could change the whole way things work...think about it...

It is impossible to build a time machine? Nothing can go faster then the speed of light.

Yes it is possible. I think it is possible because i've read the Time Machine by H. G. Wells. Also, it is possible because I like to believe that things are possible. Is that god enough for you?
