Is it true that if you die in your dreams you will die in real life? If so, prove it. Thanx again!

Oy. No, it's not true. Neither are ridiculous assertions that dreaming about swimming or snakes will kill you. Your brain would wake you up long before you died if you held your breath while dreaming. No such research has led to killing animals or people based on their dreams.

Time to develop some critical thinking skills, people.

No, that's a common vulgata about dreams that they would foretell the future. They don't: dreams speak of the PAST not of the FUTURE. This is why they matter.
If you die in a dream, ask yourself how many times have you died already?
Sleep is the Brother to Death in greek mythology, and dying in a dream is the most ancient symbol of CHANGE - because for some reason death in our unconscious is connected not with an end, but with a change.
It is also connected with mourning, probably the richest experience a human being can face.

Nah. When you see death in your dreams i.e. you dying, it is a message to say to move on.

It's also a way to say you have left the past and now moving into the future, and you're letting go. It's a dream about you changing, you battling and winning over something.

I had this dream when I got divourced and years later, the dream came. It came because I was moving on and making it happening in my life.

So maybe you're going through something, deciding on something in your life. It don't have to be a relationship, might be something else, and you are making a mental picture, spiritually, while sleeping, that you are now letting go and move on.

Death in your dreams is not significant of a physical death, but more of a death to something that is going on in your life, like dying to selfishness. I've dreamed many many times that I've died. And I'm very much alive. Proof? I'm alive. Not dead. Though of course I will die eventually. Enjoy the life you are living, but look at what things or life choices you would like to have "die".
Happy living!

No. I've never died in my dreams, but I was in heaven when I fell asleep. I do know if you dream of swimming for more than two minutes that you die. (It's unvoluntary to stop dreamking of swimming. Scientists did tests on animals close to our genetics. Sicko's!) Also, if you have a fear of snakes, (as an example) and you dream that they are climbing all over you and then they touch your neck you die. (Again, those sicko's at the scientist lab.)

No it isn't...I have. Several times.

A dream is just a bunch of interneurons firing during various stages of REM sleep. The "shock" of dying in a dream, contrary to the urban myth, is not going to stop your heart. It'll probably just make you wake up and realize you had a nightmare.

Dreams are but a gilmpse into our ineer workings. What we think may happen may actually happen, butit is not a fact that if youd ie in your dream, you die in real life. Don't worry about it.

Usually your dreams mean the opposite of what will be reality.
Example: dream of death- means new life..
