Study. But, that is the simple answer. If the teacher offers a practice test, make sure you can answer each question correctly...many times..the actual test will be very similar. Also, seek help from the teacher if you have any problems with the assigned homework. From my experience, teachers actually sometimes give hints to what might be on the test if you stay after class for help. Good luck.

The only resolution to acing a test is studying/hard work. But I can assure you something- if you try your best and focus, doing a test won't be a problem. There is no reason to get stressed and uncomfortable before a test- if you know you have prepared well and can't do anything else about the outcome, then you have nothing to worry about. But also, it might help you to know that it doesn't matter how LONG you study, what matters is what you remember :)

All you really have to do to ace a test is take notes on the chapter or the course you are taking a test on.Don't get the textbook and study because it will take you forever to study and it will get you confused sometimes.Only take notes on the major parts of the test material. Examples:dates, people who play a major role in the event, names of important events, etc. Also if you have vocabulary words, look over the words until you think you know them and hand over the list to a parent, friend, etc. Let them test you on the words and the ones you got wrong study them again. And cheating is just wrong.Hope you never have to result to that but if you do then . . . good luck not getting caught doing it!!!

As I'm an asian I have plenty of experience with studying. Well, if you have a few days before the test, study during this time, and on the day before the test, study really hard and quiz yourself at times to make sure you know the answers. If you miss some, go back to the ones you missed and restudy over them and try to test yourself again. Don't listen to those that say you need a good breakfast and to relax. You know yourself that you won't relax with this test on your mind. The only thing you need is sleep and to study. If you are at any time unsure of something, go back over it. The only way to confirm good study habits is by making sure you are paying full attention to studying. Good luck!

Make review cards and study.
Do practice problems.
Use a reveiw book.
Ask your teacher to clarify material on the test and review w/him or her.
STUDY!
Use a study group (so you can help each other and ask/answer ?'s)
Get a good nights sleep before the test.
Make sure you prepare all you need the night before (no rushing in the morning).
Eat breakfast.
Have extra pens, pencils (bring a calculator if you're allowed)
Leave extra time so you don't rush.
No major cramming (it'll stress you out).

eliminate all distractions from your ability to concentrate and study your butt off for periods of 20-30 minutes at a time with brief eye rests only in between and get a good nights rest before test day.

Study hard. Read the info over and over 'till its in your mind. As long as it takes, DO the sample questions to practice. Then think about and USE the info. Does it make sense to you? Is it useful for anything , now or in the future? Should you keep these ides fresh in your mind or use your forgetery on them? Then say what you mean and mean what you say.
