have you tried to volenteer at nursing homes and read to the ederly or how about fishing or even sky diving.. or how about learning a new cooking style.. try to help others that are in need... be a loving siter to some one who does not have one

try golf. it will provide plenty of exercise, it will require dedication and patience, and over the course (no pun intended) of your lifetime youll meet more new people than you ever imagined. youll also learn a lot about yourself.
