sorry, my goofy little brother beat you to it when he came to visit me from Virginia! So you can't be a trend setter, it has been done. You should have seen this; it took a half an hour to talk him OUT of his oxfords INTO the flip flops. He was intent upon the socks, and so ended up with a 5 pound soaking wet wool sock full of sand on each foot, and later came the blisters.
Save yourself the trouble...

You won't be a trendsetter because wool is the worst thing you could possibly wear in the heat. But hey, if you want hot, stinky feet, go for it, but I doubt the rest will follow. At least I hope not.
