I was listening to the radio this morning and they said that in india men are renting their wives out for money (because of the shortage of women in india men need help with raising kids, doing laundry ect...) The women do every thing including sleep with the men. Would you rent out your spouce if you needed the money

I'd rent out my spouse in a heart beat if someone would pay me for him. Maybe then I'd make back some of the money I've lost in the relationship, and maybe they'd actually get him to do some work. Wow. What a concept.
Man for rent. Cheap. Great for sitting in recliner, drinking beer, and sleeping all day. Also excellent at breaking things. Has been known to toss a cat on occassion. Call 999-999-9999

Hell no. I live in a box before any other woman is allowed to use my husband for anything!!!! Perhaps I'm jealous and a smidgen greedy but he's my husband. Now helping out is cool as long as it is voluntary, platonic, and I know about it. I think if the men need help with that stuff they need to learn to do it themselves.
But that is probably a very western ideal. Different ideas for different cultures.

NO!!! In the long run that will cause terrible problems in marriages. These husbands will have a horrible jealousy problem, and will probably become abusive to their wives even though they are the ones who rented them out in the first place!

We could use the money, but sorry.....anything too personal would make it out of the question. Otherwise....let's face it......it'd be no different than all the other men who fly out on a long business trip and return home and get paid to do so.

Nope Never... I love him too much and dont want anyone else having him and I would not want him to see me either. We are not pieces of property without feelings. This is just cruel and harsh and should not happen. I would not ever need or want the money that bad. We are humans with emotions and feeling for goodness sakes!!!!

at times i would love to rent hijm out, forget a moth lets do a year. If i really needed the money and it owuld have to be alot. i would considered it. Just look at the show wife swap... its kinda like that only made for T.V.

NO WAY!!!! Even if I didn't love my spouse, it is morally wrong to do something like that!!! I could never do that to anyone. It is a form of slavery!!! And it is illegal. People in India are so poor, I guess they'll do anything to survive.
