Take the decimal, and move the decimal point all the way to the right
You should have a whole number
that is your numerator
count how many spaces you moved the decimal point
write that number of zeros after one
that is your denominator

for example, it the decimal is 0.1836312324
move the decimal all the way to the right
your numerator is 1836312324
you moved the decimal point over 10 spots so your denominator is 1 with 10 zeros after it, or 10,000,000,000
Therefore, the fraction is 1,836,312,324/10,000,000,000

first you count the amount of decimal places there are (1.234 there are 3 places after the decimal) after you have done that take the whole number (if there is one) and put it to the left of the fraction and put the number (234) over (/) a number that starts with one and ends in the amount of zeros there are to decimal places

= 1 234/1000 see three decimal places three zeros check ya later ♥

You have to move the decimal to the right 2 times, and whatever number you get is that number over 100, because the total is 100%.

just divide the given decimal number by 1 followed by number of zeroes to the right of decimal point and simplify it..

E.g: 2.14 = 214/ 100 ( write number without any decimal..then..there are two points after decimal here hence divide by 100, 2 zeroes here..then simplify

2.14= 214/100 = 107/50..

you take the decimal and put it over the correct power of ten. If the last number in the decimal is in the 100ths place you put it over 100. If its in the 1000ths place you put it over 1000. Ex: .12 = 12/100 or .245 = 245/1000.

You could put it over the next highest 'th' and then reduce it. Take for example....

.3728 could be 3728/10,000 and then reduce.

Hope this helps.
