yes i remember him ,he was a thief stole cattle ,held up banks,a murderer and basicly a low life, he shot a policeman in cold blood, and also killed a few others,but like a lot of things they made him look like a hero not the scum that he was,ps tradeshow 333 that book is a work of fiction why make excuses for the scum,tell your lies to the forebears of people of those he murdered,please dont try to make out something that is complete bs

I do. A great movie starring Heath Ledger came out about 2, 3 years ago that was about Ned Kelly. If you remember him and are interested then look into that movie, it's very good.

Of course. He is a folk legend in Australia and a symbol of the free spirit that fought against colonial rule. He is widely seen as a Robin Hood type character who was unjustly persecuted. Read Peter Carey's "True History of the Kelly Gang". Great read and a Booker Prize winner.

Kind of hard to remember someone who's been dead for a century.But I have heard of him and read some interesting stories.
Pretty cool the way they built suits of armor,although they didn't work in the end.

I don't know his story, but there is a GREAT PUB in Hong Kong that is named "Ned Kelly's Last Stand". Was he australian?
