Open an account at a store like Best Buy that has their own credit card. Generally approval takes minutes, and based on how much you qualify for, you can get a laptop on the spot.....but you'll have to make minimum payments each month.

You can get a 12 months interests free at www.toshiba.com when you buy any laptop. In another word you buy a laptop from Toshiba, they give you 12 months to pay it with no money down and no interests fee. You pay between $30-50 a month and if you don't pay the whole price at the end of the 12 months, the interest rate is 19%.
Good luck and happy shopping.

If you go to , Staples, Circuit City, Sams,, or any of the stores that sell laptops , most of them have a plan were if you pay it off in about 6 to 8 months there is no finance charge, believe me that is the way to go. it will give you credit and if you pay it off in the alotted time ,, there is no interest to pay.

While I would not recommend a DELL, you can order from them, and get it on a new account. I prefer Toshiba notebooks.
