yea, but a press pack helps. talk to a manager, also get indie support as well, dont shoot straight for warner or epic, ya know?

Most record companies don't accept unsolicited demos from people without representation. I would check out a copy of "This Business of Music" from your local library.

Sure go ahead, they'll most likely decline it. You're best bet is to get in contact with an A&R rep, or just get your name out there, hell go sell copies in front of Wal Mart. Have a couple hundred copies available.

You could shop it all over the place in various musi houses... Get noticed slowly and then hopefully get spotted, a recording contract...AND MAKE ME YOUR MANAGER! :)

you might think about putting your music on garageband.com people review your songs and you can see what you need to improve on

well i think you would have to go to open mic nights and talk to your local radio stations to see if they would put it on for you..
