A sure fire sign something's going to get axed is a change of date, time and channel for airing. All good things have to come to an end. I haven't regularly watched an episode since September 2000, although I did get a chance to see episodes from 2002 and 2003 a few years back. I wasn't that impressed with the episodes... and it doesn't surprise me that it's been axed, obviously it's got worse since then!

Well, at least the various shows that spawned from it will still be here for us to enjoy (Top of the Pops 2, etc.)... Or are they being cut too?

About time too - it was a load of pap - or perhaps it was the groups that made it that.
