Top 10: Romantic Getaways
1. Bora Bora, French Polynesia
Toping the list of romantic getaways, Bora Bora features a spectacular crystal blue lagoon, white sand beaches and grandiose waterways... what more could you possibly ask for?
2. Casablanca, Morocco
There's something about North Africa; maybe it's the desert, maybe it's the fact that Humphrey Bogart starred in a movie named after the spot. Whatever it is, take a journey to Casablanca and we guarantee that you will find numerous ways to warm up on those cold nights.
3. Venice, Italy
Make sure you get to Venice before the city goes under water -- seriously. There is a reason the city has served as the backdrop to numerous romantic operas and date flicks, and where else can you take a gondola ride with your ladylove?
4. Greek Islands
Perfect for the bachelor, the family, or the couple wanting to visit something different. The beautiful clear waters, delicious food, and mesmerizing sunsets (especially in Oia) are all part of the charm.
5. Argentina
While any trip to South America promises to be memorable, Argentina is definitely a must. Taste a bit of Europe in lovely Buenos Aires; if you're lucky enough, maybe you'll have a chance to visit Ushuaia -- the most southern tip of the continent.
6. Paris, France
Some may say the destination is overrated, but Paris makes the list of romantic getaways based on its reputation as the City of Lights alone. While definitely an expensive choice, the city's rich history, arts, culture, not to mention the food, will make your woman love you for this getaway. The Eiffel Tower and Louvre are a must, and make sure to head to Versailles. Just don't let her run off with your credit card to go shopping on Les Champs Elysees.
7. Algarve, Portugal
For a change, visit Spain's neighbor and enjoy great beaches, wonderful travel resorts, and spectacular golf courses -- all perhaps, for the best bang for your buck. A truly undiscovered European jewel.
8. Vienna, Austria
Mozart may have been born in Salzburg, but there is a reason he died in Vienna. One of the most historic cities in the Old Continent, Vienna is rich in culture and the arts.
9. Malta
A friend of mine went to the Maltese Islands for his honeymoon and never stopped ranting about it. Embrace the tranquility and charm of these islands and soak up over 6,000 years of civilization.
10. Turkey
Europe meets Asia in the first of our romantic getaways. Thousands of years of history, and a rich, diverse cultural background as displayed by breathtaking art and scenic architecture. The area has beautiful coasts, amazing landscapes and food that will leave you wanting more.

Go to Arizona. There are so many romantic places in Arizona that you'll have to take a long honeymoon to see them all. Lake Powell is the most romantic. You can relax on the water in a houseboat for days. Find a secret cove and swim and play. Go to Page, Arizona and stay in a cool little hotel and see the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, have a picnic on the top of a mountain overlooking the lake and see the raw beauty of the area. Go to Lake Powell Escalante Tours to set it all up and just show up and have fun. That's what we did and it was the most romantic time of our lives.
