Dear Gina,
I appreciate your question...... I believe the Bible tells us the reason why man is so sinful and disrespectful of God. In Ephesians 2:1, the Bible tells us that "we" (mankind) is dead in sins and trespasses. That is, we are corpses that cannot "hear" God's commands nor obey them. In John chpt 11 we read of the Lord raising Lazarus from the dead. Lazarus had been dead 4 days before the Lord came to the tomb. This story pictures what happens when a person is born again or saved. Christ had to go into that tomb and give Lazarus the ability to hear, and the will to obey, not to mention to give life to that rotting corpse! The story in Ezekiel 37 (valley of dry bones) demonstrates the same truth. The Bible tells us that the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked before salvation (Jeremiah 17:9). In fact the Lord tells us that we are conceived in sin (Psalms 51:5; Psalms 58:3-5). Mankind is in total rebellion to God and will not seek the Lord (Romans 3:10-18). It is only the mercy and goodness of the Lord that He has chosen some of these rebels to redeem and make children of God (Romans 9:10-18).
There is so much more to say, but let me point you to this website: www.familyradio.com. I hope this will help you.

Dear Gina D.
To answer your question, it is called "free will." We want to as it
is said, "do our own thing." Most of us do not like living under rules or being told what to do. We think we know better than anybody else. There is a reaction for every action. Ex. you put your wet finger into an electric outlet. Your going to get shocked! Go up to the top of a tall building and jump off, the only place you are going is down!!
Sin is like that. We know its wrong, but we take a chance, we
don't get hit by lightning, it feels good so we do it again and
again. But after a while we get tired of that, and we try some-
thing else.
But, eventually something happens. We begin to feel bad, we have regrets and we start looking for a way to make it go away.
Another example, you go out on the town for the weekend. You go clubbing, bar hopping, score with a guy or girl or both if
thats your thing. You get smashed, blitz, loaded, buzzed! But, what happens! You wake up with the world's worst hangover, and find your in the "what am I doing
here hotel." You feel like you have been hit by a train, you look like you've been mud wrestling and your pockets have been picked, and your in another city.
For all of this partying what do have to show for it? It might be that some weeks later you start feeling really bad. You go to your MD, they send you for tests. Now you have syphilis, or
gonorrhea, or AIDS. Worse yet you have hepatitis B, you could be dead in two weeks! Is it worth it!
Another life style. Your a career criminal. You rob, steal ,
break into homes, carry a gun and have a drug habit, and an I don't give a s**t attitude!
This goes on and on. You have five ways out. You rehabitate,
very hard if your a heavy user, You get caught, you have prior
convictions, you get sent up for 25 big ones! Third, you run
out of the pizza parlour you just robbed, and get blown away by
cops across the street giving out parking tickets.
Get saved! Or you use your head and never get yourself into any
of the first three situations.
Actions and reactions, remember! the two senarios were sins.
They got out of control, the end result was a disaster.
You see, your sins are a crime against God. That little voice starts gnawing at you day and night. No peace of mind. The end result, if you die in that state. You are lost. Even if you do not
believe in hell (I do). The result of losing all that you will see in
heaven, the Glory of God and His Angels and hearing Him say to
you "Be gone from me, I never knew you." That in and of itself.
IS HELL. THINK ABOUT THAT AND WHAT YOU WILL TELL
GOD ON JUDGMENT DAY!!!!!!!!

well.....some religions don't make sense.jesus walking on water!as crazy as the roman gods!and plus some cristians tend to act better than everybody and act like they are right and all the other religions are wrong.(im not streotypeing).religion was created to keep people in place but over the years god has slipped on a lot of things.people dieing!the tsunami!huricane katrina!if it wasn't god doing it than the devil really is stronger than god.god is energy not a man.in jesus days he used sarcasum.and we took that sarcasum.god IS the earth...he didn't make it.god is in us.he is the energy that keeps us alive.our soal.when we die EVERYONE GOES TO THE SAME PLACE.and thats back to the earth.our minds might stay consius and hevan is what we wan't it to be.so people kinda understand that.and maybe its becaus people won't let us do things our selves.we can live god or no god.wich ever one you want

My sins are not the same as yours. I do not believe in "god" or Jesus's teachings. But I do not disrespect him or the people that do believe in him. Everyone's beliefs are different.
