If you listen to metal and punk do you start to dress out your style In music?
I actualy kinda started too I got into rock like 3 years ago then started to show my style with the music ya know that spiked belt [Which I love soo much] I realy like black clothes and my friends said I look like Billie joe if he where a girl *wtf* but I do wear other colours except brown blah that colour is not a colour its just poo.:P

I know its somthing thats in the inside but to find other ppl who like the music you like you somtimes need to let it show somehow with out sining rock out loud lol

ya know what........ go to the link below and read it carefully. punk is about the MUSIC. it's NOT just some stupid brand. ya see it's that kind of thinking that gives us a room full of people just ACTING into punk because everybody else is into it. this is why there's such a thing as posers. shame.

wow....that's a weird way to describe it. People are starting to get on my nerves with this whole "i hate emo people" thing. lets get one thing straight. I'm emo! I feel that people are getting the physical mixed with the emotional mixed with the musical. EMO IS A TYPE OF MUSIC. I can call myself emo because i listen and play in an emo band. I scream and play the guitar. If you want to dress like a punk..then dress like a punk......you are your biggest critic..if you don't like the way you dress...your only hurting yourself. Just try to be a little open minded when you think about music. I could go around and say that punks are rebels who don't listen to authority...but I don't. I know how it feels to be tormented because of the way that i dress or feel. I'm not about to go and tear someone Else's crowd down because i don't like it. Everyone has their own opinion..or a certain type of style that they prefer. Just please be true to yourself...its the only way to be!

i agree with TOM up there, way to many kids these days believe punk is a fashion.. its places like hot topic at your local mall that has turned the punk scene from a way of life to a fashion show... like in the last question i just answered "whats the all time best punk band" and some people actually put NIRVANA , LMAO... its the new generation i guess that hasent taken the time to learn and understand the roots behind the meaning "punk" before they go and use it in a misinformed manor

I listen to hardcore music. I have a lot of Cd's but I just choose to dress the way I want to.

PUNK IS NOT A BRAND!!!!! people are influenced by what they see, but its not somthin you can buy at a store!!!!! its a mind frame. and if you are really punk or metal on the inside, the outsidde will reflect that anyway
