It makes them feel "MACHO" find a tactfull way to put him in his place when he is running his mouth to his friends!
My ex did that to me one time,when we first got married.The next time we were going to be around his friends,I secretly put a pair of my sexy lil panties in my purse,after he put on his macho act,I took the panties out and tossed them to him and asked if he could wear them.He looked all cocky and says" I can't get into these" I just smiled and said" if you don't change your attitude,you never will get into them again"! it worked! We can only be treated like dirt if we allow it to hapen!

That's because many boys are clueless about how to talk to girls, BRE-BRE. They experience a lot of pier pressure, and will only talk when they are in a comfortable situation. When they're with a bunch of their buddies, they're relaxed and feel free to talk, and the bravado comes out about all the women they know and hooked up with. They're trying to be cool, and it's mostly hogwash and one-up-man-ship. And when they fail at even the simplest conversation with a real girl, their coolness turns out to be cold feet.
When you find a boy who can have a real conversation with you, it's a good sign that he actually is cool.

they wanna be a "hero" for their friends and buddies...kinda bravely you know...but when they wanna talk face to face with a girl they are afraid to screw everything up...I think thats the reason
