Have you noticed immigration increases after wars are over?

Question

After each war there is an influx of immigration to this Country from the country we just fought; for instance Korean War, WWII Japan, Vietamese war. The same deal will hold true with Iraq. And it seems that often we get those that at the beginning can't support themselves. And they want to change the culture here to suit theirs.

YES!! The Iraqis are already here after the 1st Gulf War.

i guess they feel since they are under our rule they might as well be here.
